Gene Autry Melody Ranch - 1954 (Matt)
I paid $22 for this guitar, the bridge was mostly missing, as was the bridge. The back was off it, and most of the bracings
from inside were missing.
A lost cause, you may think, but due to the nature of the modifications we do on these guitars, it didn't really matter, it had
to come apart anyway.
After rebracing it, replacing the frett board, and trying to replicate Harmonys stylish, painted on, block markers, a new bridge
was made. Once back together, it was set up with 11 to 52 guage strings and a Fishman Rare Earth soundhole pick up fitted.
This is by far my favourite guitar so far, it sound, plays, and feels better than any acoustic guitar I have played, and is
played everday.
